Below is a calendar for local and California state tournaments. There are also links to tournament hosting organization’s general tournament calendars. I will add more national and international events to the calendar below as time permits. You can always click on the USA Archery and NFAA links below to get current information on national and international events.

CALIFORNIA BOWMEN HUNTERS/STATE ARCHERY ASSOCIATION

The CBH/SAA is our state affiliate for the NFAA or National Field Archery Association. Most of the archery ranges and clubs here in San Francisco Bay Area are CBH/SAA members. Most of the tournaments hosted by CBH/SAA clubs are field archery events. The CBH/SAA does host 2 target style tournaments every year. One is indoor and one is hosted outdoors. USA ARCHERY 2025 SCHEDULE OF TOURNAMENTS AND EVENTS

USA Archery host tournaments on the National and International level. Those that interested in National and or International rankings should shoot these types of events (USAT). USA Archery is responsible for selecting our Olympic and World Championship teams. These are great tournaments to learn from of the best archers our country has to offer. I've learned so much from our national coaches and team members by attending these types of events.

CBH/SAA State Indoor Championships January 2025 450 Round – 20 Yards – 15 Ends – 3 Arrows. Champion in each style and age group. Styles may be flighted based on number of participants. AWARDS for 1st, 2nd, & 3rd. TIES will be broken by “X” count. Awards will be mailed to participating Venue. Results will be published in the CBH/SAA Newsletter and on www.cbhsaa.org To be eligible for awards and state records, you must be a member of NFAA otherwise you will be classified as GUEST. Membership renewal and New applications must be completed electronically. No hard copy memberships applications will be accepted. To gain membership in NFAA, go to https://nfaausa.com.
