The CBH/SAA is our state affiliate for the NFAA or National Field Archery Association. Most of the archery ranges and clubs here in San Francisco Bay Area are CBH/SAA members. Most of the tournaments hosted by CBH/SAA clubs are field archery events. The CBH/SAA does host 2 target style tournaments every year. One is indoor and one is hosted outdoors. The State Archers Of California is our state affiliated for USA Archery. USA Archery is our national organization for target archery. Target archery is what you see in the Olympic Games.

USA Archery host tournaments on the National and International level. Those that interested in National and or International rankings should shoot these types of events (USAT). USA Archery is responsible for selecting our Olympic and World Championship teams. These are great tournaments to learn from of the best archers our country has to offer. I've learned so much from our national coaches and team members by attending these types of events.
